CanadaHub @ Fringe Marketplace is a showcase of the very best of contemporary Canadian performance

 The Canada Council for the Arts presents CanadaHub at Fringe Marketplace, in collaboration with the  High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom, and produced by Selfconscious Productions.

This year, in light of the cancellation of the Edinburgh Fringe, our program of eight works will be represented on the Fringe Marketplace, a dedicated digital showcase platform to connect  international arts industry delegates with tour-ready artists who were programmed as part of this year’s Fringe. In addition, the eight works will be represented at the Fringe's CanadaHub Showcase and Pitch Event.  The brochure for this event can be accessed in English and in French.

First coming to the Fringe with the huge hit Counting Sheep in 2016, CanadaHub returned to King’s Hall for a full programme of shows in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Produced by Selfconscious Productions, in association with Summerhall, CanadaHub is presented by the Canada Council for the Arts, in collaboration with the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom. 

Over the past three seasons, CanadaHub productions have won 3 Scotsman Fringe Firsts, multiple Herald Angels (including one for its entire 2018 program), and a nomination for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award. In 2019, CanadaHub was awarded Best Fringe Bar by To Do List.
